By 20 October 2021No Comments

Following CI Games’ best year to date, with the significant sales success of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, Eldest Souls and Tails of Iron, the company is restructuring the commercial side of the business. As part of this, CI Games is excited to announce that industry veteran, Sam Sadeghi, will be joining the company in a newly formed role, VP of Global Sales.

With over thirteen years of experience within gaming sales, Sam started his career at SEGA as part of their export team. He further honed his craft in high-level sales positions at Ubisoft and Red Entertainment, where he managed distribution of the Activision Blizzard account, helping launch Overwatch and Call of Duty, amongst other great IPs.

Sam joins the CI Games team from a sales position at SEGA, where he helped drive both the digital and physical sales across their vast catalogue, including many of their recent successes.

“I am extremely honored to be joining the CI Games family at this exciting time after the recent successes of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, Eldest Souls, and Tails of Iron. I believe this is the perfect next step for me and that my experience, coupled with the ambitions and roadmap of CI Games, is an ideal match going forward. I hope to build upon CI Game’s solid foundation and vision for the future, including Lords of the Fallen 2, which I’m particularly excited about as it will mark a major step forward for the company”
Sam Sadeghi – VP of Global Sales, CI Games

“We are delighted to bring Sam on board in a brand new position for the company. With his vast experience, we’re confident that Sam can help bring our titles to a wider global audience, and build upon the strong commercial successes that CI Games has achieved in 2021. He arrives at a key moment, as we begin planning a number of larger releases for 2023 and beyond.”
Marek Tyminski – CEO, CI Games

Sam’s appointment will bring the CI Games global headcount to over 150, contributing to a 36% growth since the start of 2021. This is a pivotal moment for CI Games, and Sam will be instrumental in ensuring the company’s continued growth and success, maximising the commercial potential of its existing and future portfolio.  CI Games’s ambition is to now  continue in the pursuit of high quality and critical praise, selecting only the very best titles for its portfolio. Although the past two years have been hard for the world in general, the company adapted and now has high hopes for 2022 – with more announcements to come.
